Recommended way to get to Manza Onsen

There are two recommended ways to visit Manza Onsen. Take a direct bus from Shinjuku. The best way is to take the Shinkansen to Karuizawa and then take the free shuttle bus from there. You can also take a direct bus when you go there, or take the Shinkansen from Karuizawa on your way back, depending on your time and travel plans.

Direct bus

Approximately 5 hours by direct bus from Tokyo (Shinjuku). Arrive at the hotel entrance.

From Tokyo, take the Shinkansen to Karuizawa, and from there take Nisshinkan's free shuttle bus to Manza Onsen.

Direct bus from Tokyo (Shinjuku) to Manza Onsen Nisshinkan

It takes about 5 hours to arrive at Manza Onsen Nisshinkan entrance from Tokyo (Shinjuku).There are two rest stops along the way, and the second stop is for about an hour for lunch.It runs almost every day except for long holidays, and is easily the cheapest way to travel from Tokyo.

◆Departure time may be delayed depending on road traffic conditions.
◆Basically, it will have a toilet, but due to extra flights, maintenance, etc., it may not be equipped with a toilet.
◆If you are traveling alone or in an odd number of groups, you may be seated together.
◆If the hotel is full, you will not be able to book a plan with a direct bus even if the room is empty.
◆Currently, we ask that you refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages.
◆Before boarding, we will take your temperature and disinfect your hands. If your body temperature is 37.5 degrees or higher, you may be refused boarding.
◆If you are late for the departure time, the bus will depart on time. Accommodation fees and direct bus fares will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Free shuttle bus from Karuizawa

We provide free transportation from Karuizawa, one of Japan's leading villa areas and home to one of the largest shopping malls in eastern Japan, to Manza Onsen Nisshinkan.How about sightseeing in Karuizawa on your way back from Manza Onsen?Bus running time is approximately 2 hours.
